JEAN SALO

Actor

Lady Capulet- Romeo & Juliet
Marie/Loss- Beckett's Widow

This is Jean's second show with Four Humors and she is thrilled to be working with them again, and to be back at the Bedlam. Jean is originally from upstate NY, and holds a B.F.A. in Acting from Ithaca College. She has been in the Midwest for 13 years, working in NE, MO and WI, and settled in the Twin Cities in 2001. Since moving here she has been seen at Theatre in the Round ("2", A Night at the Black Pig, My Three Angels and Apartment 3A), and has worked with several companies, including Here Today Productions (The Rimers of Eldritch), Four Humors (Beckett's Widow), Starting Gate (The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window), and Cromulent Shakespeare (Titus Andronicus, and the upcoming June 2008 Love's Labours Lost). Last summer Jean performed in the Fringe Festival as Holly in "Diary of Self Help Boot Camp", and she can be seen annually at the MN Renaissance Festival as an announcer, sometime-singer, and dancer with the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society. Jean's upcoming shows include the two-person "Sea Marks" in August at Festival Theatre in St. Croix Falls, WI, and next January she will make her Park Square debut in "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde", directed by David Mann. Jean is grateful to Jason Ballweber and Four Humors for this opportunity to play Lady Capulet, and as always she is indebted to her husband Eric for his boundless love and support, and her son Seamus for his understanding and patience with mommy's rehearsal schedule. Thanks guys!
