Jim McDoniel graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in theatre. Since then, he silently ran SFX during an alien invasion (War of the Worlds: The Musical), mopped up in a music studio, silently (Rockin' At the Sock Hop), solved murders on a train (Murder Mystery on the Minnesota Zephyr), Died, (Your Private Apocalypse), Graduated (Artistic Types) and made tea (Arcadia). He can be seen occasionally doing improv at Improv-Go-Go, weekly doing improv at Six Ring Circus, and monthly doing sketch at the Minnesota Science Museum's Volunteer Variety Show. He also appeared as Willy in the Four Humors show, Beckett's Widow.
